Fly fly fly - Hansen Dam

Another flowy fly day edit straight outta Hansen Dam. Decided to put together another edit with footage from the freestyle quad as well as the cine-rig. You can definitely tell the difference between the two cameras. Hero 8 on the Splash and Hero 5 Session on the Ruxus. This might be one of my favorite ones so far.. Maybe. Hard to choose. What do you guys think?

That's a cool spot. Knew about it, but hadn't seen it. Not at all what I thought it would be

That Hero 8 stuff was sweet. The bigger question is why is the video so compressed or is that only on my end?

@@wsterlingy I can give that a go with videos from the 8. The sessions though... Well, the one that works, it's so beat up that the LCD doesn't work and i don't think that wifi is on for it so it's kinda stuck in 1080/60 :/ - Thanks for the tip! Have a hero 8 mount being printed now for the Ruxus so I might bite the bullet and get another one so that i have a backup. Or maybe a 7. At least the lens is replaceable on that. But i'm diggin' the 8 a lot.

@@ansim shoot at 2.7k. export it at 4k (software will scale it up), use a high bitrate like 45k. Maybe going from HD to 4k is too much of a of a change for the trick to work. That I don't know.
    • @ansim:
No it's compressed for me too. looks great until you add it to youtube. heard something about uploading in 4k to get better quality videos but i'm not sure how to do it. I film in 1080 and I exported one of the videos to 2.7 4k.. but because it scaled it up, it doesn't look good either? i'm not sure how to do it lol.
